A Jounce partner provides frequent infusions of content expertise (the newest apps) and maintenance of the coaching process and culture of practice within a school (the update of the operating system) so that the school's staff is getting smarter, faster, and more effective with every week of partnership.
We transform the passive "Observation and Feedback" model of teacher development into an active and urgent "Practice and Modeling." When a leader is "observing" she is also modeling skills the teacher can use immediately. When a leader is giving "feedback," he is also leading teachers through many rounds of practice to truly internalize the new skills.
