Barbara Espiritu

Instructional Leader Fellow

As an Instructional Leader Fellow, Barbara works with the Executive Director to improve and refine the Jounce coaching model and leads training for teachers across Jounce partner schools.

Prior to Jounce, Barbara worked as a middle and high school ELA teacher at Freire Charter School of Wilmington for five years. Prior to that, she taught and coached at Great Oaks Charter School for five years.

Barb holds a Masters in Secondary English Education from the Relay Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from St. John's University.
