Hadejia Ross
Instructional Leader Fellow
As an Instructional Leader Fellow, Hadejia works with the Executive Director to improve and refine the Jounce coaching model and leads training for teachers across Jounce partner schools. Hadejia began her educational career working to support and teach students at Lea Elementary School in West Philadelphia. She loved being of service and a part of the community while helping to support students in class, after school, and over the summers. She became so passionate about education that she added a minor in Urban Education to her BA in Biology at the University of Pennsylvania. Since then she has taught Kindergarten, First and Third Grade at KIPP Philadelphia Elementary Academy. During her time in the classroom, Hadejia has served in a variety of capacities including: math content lead, designing content based and educational technology professional development, and designing curricular resources and assessments for the KIPP Philadelphia.
Additionally during her time in the classroom, Hadejia earned her Masters of Education in Elementary and Special Education from Lincoln University. Prior to joining Jounce, Hadejia served as an assistant principal at KIPP North Philadelphia Academy Elementary School.
