High quality teaching is the most important in-school driver of student achievement. Through our Instructional Leadership Fellowship, Jounce trains instructional leaders who will deeply invest in teacher effectiveness.

Instructional Leader Fellows come to Jounce as strong educators and aspiring leaders. They leave with deep content knowledge, curricular expertise, and research-based coaching and instructional management skills. We focus on recruiting and developing BIPOC leaders because we know that BIPOC leaders have an outsized positive impact on students and, yet, BIPOC educators face numerous barriers to their advancement as instructional leaders.
